Principal’s Welcome

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members, I am truly honoured and delighted to warmly welcome you as the foundation principal of Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School, an exciting new Catholic primary school situated in the heart of Wollert West in one of Melbourne’s rapidly expanding growth corridors in the outer northern suburbs.

As we embark on this journey, I am filled with enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility to create a school that provides a welcoming and nurturing environment that fosters the holistic development of every child.

The school is named after the inspiring young Carlo Acutis, whose life is a beacon of light. Throughout his young life, Carlo’s unwavering faith, commitment to Catholic values, and dedication to others are attributes we aspire to instil in our students. Carlo Acutis is an inspiration and role model for the young people we hope to nurture – individuals with a strong sense of self, respect for others, and a drive to achieve greatness.

 With over 30 years of experience in education, I have envisioned Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School as a place where children receive an academically challenging curriculum and thrive spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

At Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School, we aspire to be the ‘Heart of the Wollert West Community.’ I aim to create a safe, harmonious, and stimulating environment where successful relationships thrive.

The school’s construction, which began in February 2024, will be completed in time for the start of the 2025 school year.

Our unique Catholic curriculum will be designed to cater to individual student needs, immersing them in experiences that foster positive attitudes towards learning, each other, teachers, parents, and life itself. We recognise our responsibility to provide an engaging yet rigorous education that equips students with the skills to be authentic lifelong learners.

I am excited to partner with you as we embark on this remarkable journey of building a school from the ground up. Together, let us create an environment where every child can flourish and grow into confident, courageous, compassionate and capable individuals.
